1. Who is Fairy Godmother Travel®?

Fairy Godmother Travel is an LLC company with a group of experienced travel agents and has been specially designated as an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  We have sailed on a variety of cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, MSC, Viking River, Carnival, Ama Waterways, Regent Seven Seas, Cunard, and Disney Cruises.  We have booked many Adventures by Disney trips for satisfied clients.  Our goal is to work with you to have the best vacation you can!  We believe that any trip can be Pixie-Dusted no matter what the budget or the timeline.

2. What precautions do you take to secure my credit card information?

First, we encourage clients to give us their credit card information directly over the phone, not via an email.  Second, we do not keep electronic copies of your credit card information other than in a secured SSL server.  If one of our computers is stolen, your credit card information will not be in danger since it does not exist on our computers.

3. What is your Privacy Policy?

We only share your information with third parties that are involved with your booking and our own agents, not any other third parties.  You should be aware that when you are on our website, you may click on links to other sites that are beyond our control.  This includes links from advertisers, sponsors and partners.  These other sites may send their own cookies to your computer, collect data, solicit personal information, or engage in other activities beyond our control.  Fairy Godmother Travel's Privacy Policy does not extend to those sites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read each privacy policy.  The sites that we control will all have either "http://fairygodmothertravel.com/" or "http://fairygodmothervacations.com/" in the URL bar of your browser.

4. Why should I choose Fairy Godmother Travel?

First and foremost, we provide information.  We will help you choose the right destination, resort hotels, rides, tours, restaurants, and answer your questions.  We believe in truthful recommendations for your trip, not just selling add-ons to make more commission; keeping with the idea of “What would Walt do?”

5. How much do you charge?

Our service is provided at no extra cost to you.  In fact, some of our trips are eligible for Fairy Godmother Travel Rewards, thus saving you money compared to booking directly with Disney.

6. How fast will you respond to my quote request?

We respond to quotes within 1 business day.  If you don't receive your quote by then, simply email us and let us know!

7. Will I have to pay up front for my vacation?

Most vacations require a deposit to hold the reservation, with courtesy holds lasting from 24 hours to a few days.  Full payment is required anywhere from 365-1 day from your travel date . These due dates are subject to change by each supplier at any time.  You can pay off any of these vacations as early as you wish or make payments on your time schedule before the due date.

8. I've already booked directly with Disney.  Can I still use your services?

Definitely!  You will have to transfer your reservation to us, but as soon as that happens we will be glad to help you plan your dream vacation.

9. Do you charge cancellation/change fees?

No, Fairy Godmother Travel does not charge any agency fees for changes or cancellations; however, Disney and other travel providers (such as Royal Caribbean or Universal) may have change and cancellation policies that may result in a fee.  We know that no one wants to have to cancel a vacation, but please remember that your personal Fairy Godmother will have already done quite a bit of work on your reservation at the time you cancel.  Because of that, we ask that you keep us in mind when booking your next vacation.

10. What if a lower rate comes out for my trip after I book it?

In most cases, we will be able to lower the rate for you, saving you money on your vacation.  When a special rate comes out you can be assured that our agents are on the phone with Disney the minute their reservations agents open the phone lines at 6:00 am Central Time the morning the discounts are released in order to secure the new special rate for you.  In some cases the room type or resort may not be available and to get the new rate you may need to change resorts or room types to take advantage of the discount.
Also, please note that changing some packages may incur a fee from Disney or other travel providers.

11. Should I buy travel insurance for my vacation?

We especially recommend insurance for your cruise and Adventures by Disney trips, since these often occur in foreign countries or in international waters, which personal medical insurance may not cover.  Travel insurance covers many things regarding your trip, including:

1. Trip Cancellation/Interruption
2. Medical emergencies while on vacation
3. Baggage loss or damage
